“Miss Christy” Burich has been singing, dancing, teaching and entertaining young children and their families since 1999. She is Director of Wee Heart Music, Inc. which offers Music Together® classes for children 0 – 7 years old as well as entertainment for children’s birthday parties, family concerts and performances for preschools and libraries. She has a M.A. in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from the Phillips Graduate Institute in Encino, C.A. and a B.F.A. in theatre performance from University of Michigan's School of Music in Ann Arbor. She is registered to teach Music Together® from the Center for Music and Young Children in Princeton, N.J.
She has been awarded Music Together Certification Level II, having demonstrated outstanding achievement in teaching, musicianship, program philosophy, and parent education. The award was granted by the Center for Music and Young Children in Princeton, NJ, Kenneth K. Guilmartin, Founder/Director.
Miss Christy is passionate about cultivating and preserving children’s natural enthusiasm for life through active music-making. She also aspires to encourage adults to let their inner child out to play now and again! She has two CDs “Halloween Hoopla” and “Winter Holidays Round the World” that help to do just that!
