Moey (a.k.a. “Melissa Levis”), New York City’s #1 mommy rocker and an award-winning Off-Broadway songwriter, is leading a “princess revolution” on New York City’s playgrounds, empowering and entertaining children with interactive sparkly rocking songs. The New York Post calls her “The Pied Piper in Pink” because she performs for tens of thousands of children throughout New York City.
Moey leads her band, Moey’s Music Party, with songs that Time Out NY Kids has called “entertaining and educational tunes reminiscent of Schoolhouse Rock” and The New York Times has called “pop music that parents can enjoy too.” Nickelodeon’s Parent’sConnect.com nominated Moey’s Music Party as New York City’s Best Party Entertainer.
Moey’s Music Party has entertained children at FAO Schwarz, The New York Public Library, The Tribeca Film Festival and more. She created Central Park’s Sandbox Sing-Along Series, performing more than 25 concerts in playgrounds throughout Central Park.
