Violist, Monisa Angell's career embraces many styles of music. Although classically trained, jazz, pop, country music and chamber music all have a place in her heart. Her musical life has been spent playing the viola in orchestra and concert halls, historic mansions and church sanctuaries, as well as backing up many great recording artists from Garth Brooks and Dolly Parton to UK artist James Morrison, on-stage and in the recording studios of Nashville, TN.
From recording with new artists to performing in concerts at the world-famous Ryman Auditorium, Monisa has been involved in the string world of Nashville since 1991.
