Morgana vs Morgana was born in December of 1992.
‘Coeur de Le Fay ‘(autoeditado, 1994) was the name of their first demo which offered five tracks recorded at studio and five tracks at live in one of their many shows in the Valencian music underground.
Ten months later they recorded a second demo 'Preguntas' (Soroll Records, 1994) receiving the first critical acclaim to his work both in local media (Wah-Wah, On the Rocks) and national (Heavy Rock, Metal Hammer).
During the year 1995 are classified in the Circuit Rock and they are finalists of the Contest Asylum Rock.
'Luz Vision 3.57' (Subterráneo, 1997), is the following. An album consisting of five tracks which gets rave reviews and echoing in the national radio stations, highlighting RNE3. Three songs were extracted from the album to collaborate on four compilations 'Rockomendados' (Heavy Rock, 1997),' Estación 1 '(Locomotive Music, 1997), ’10 años independientes’ (Radio Funny, 1997),'Duro Despegue'(Subterráneo Records, 1997). They classify in the Circuit Rock again and get the biggest audience in that contest.
In 1998 they record a new demo of four tracks, one of which is extracted for a new compilation 'Omenaje a la mala Huva' (La Phylloxera, 1998). The media highlight the band’s personality in their last album.
In 1999, with the idea of a necessary renovation, Victor Díaz (guitar) takes part in the project and Carlos is devoted completely to the voice. Morgana vs Morgana record a new demo with four tracks and they win the contest Mostra Música Jove 1999, recording three new tracks for an album which is edited by the sponsors of the contest.
Year 2000 marks a difference in the recording habits of the band make shutting them up to compose along the whole year and create 17 songs. Nine of those will be part of their new work ‘Hipnoterapia ‘(self-published, 2003). From this album is been extracted ‘En el nombre de tu danza’ to be part of the compilation ‘El Relevo’ (Lengua Armada, 2002)
The band backs to the road in order to get money for their ambitious new project that will see the light three years later. 'Nébula’ (self-published, 2006) with ten tracks which marked the most personal work of the band, both in compositions and in the exquisite edition, run out today.
The specialized media appreciate this new work as one of the best national albums in the year and recognize the effort of the band, also for being a self-published work, leaving a message to the music business for not having still bet for them. The FNAC selects this album to facilitate the sale through its sales network and it was considered the fourth-best national album by Zona Zero and excellent for Rockzone Magazine.
That same year Morgana vs Morgana is classified as a finalist among more than seven hundred groups for the contest Villa de Madrid playing in Universimad.
At the end of 2007 the band concluded this stage releasing the video ‘Nébula’ which gathers different images with the band at live. By this year Zagg comes as the new guitarist replacing Víctor.
In 2008 the band again go into seclusion to compose and arrange the recording of their next album 'Sol Invicto' (Rust Factory, 2009).
Co-produced by the band, Joaquín Sánchez Bailló (Sunnday Studios) and Zagg (Zaggarts). Mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren, an internationally renowned producer who has worked with bands like Katatonia, Opeth or Paradise Lost.
The design has been made by graphic designer Nacho Galacho providing his personal insight of the whole work in a luxurious full-colour booklet of sixteen pages.
With these new seven tracks Morgana vs Morgana is shown unabashedly as the safest bet and coherent national new wave of metal.
