Ricky Little and Emily Votruba are the MORRA MUSIC PROJECT.
Votruba [better known in the music production world as oasisDuke] has been composing musical beds and songs for 7 years. This year, Votruba teamed up with writing partner, Ricky Little, and the two immediately began creating undeniably viable commercial pop and rock songs. They called their creative explosion the MORRA MUSIC PROJECT.
Votruba started out as and most recently returned to her role as a singer. In July, she landed an international commercial spot for Becel Spread that features her voice. Her voice will also be featured on international rock band VanderLinde’s new album, “Perfect Sadness”.
Little is most proficient with electric/acoustic/bass guitars; he has been playing guitar for over 10 years and is quickly becoming quite a strong lead vocalist, as well. World- renowned producer/engineer Erwin Musper described some of Little’s fiery lyrics and catchy guitar licks as “young Dylan-esque”.
Votruba and Little were fortunate enough to be "discovered" by Musper earlier this year. Under his tutelage, they completed a professional grade album that showcases their talent as both musicians and songwriters.
While they enjoy writing contemporary pop and rock, Little and Votruba are fully capable of writing in many different genre styles, from jazz to country, big band to electronica. They also enjoy composing instrumental scores of all genres for use in film and television.
MORRA MUSIC PROJECT welcomes the opportunity to collaborate with and have their work performed by other artists. Their goal is to reach as many people as possible with their music.
