Mosey West

Mosey West is an indie folk rock band from Fort Collins, CO. The band spent the winter recording their self-produced sophomore EP, Merica. The album was independently released on May 11, 2012.

The three members met through playing music with friends around Fort Collins and formed the band in the fall of 2010. They first called themselves “Merica”, which explains the title of their second EP. The band changed their name to Mosey West in July of 2011.

The band's debut EP, Vaca Money was recorded in the summer of 2011 at UI Sound Studios in Boulder, CO and was co-produced with Evan Reeves. The 5 song EP was independently released on September 30, 2011. The album was awarded one of the “10 Best Local Albums of 2011” by Marquee Magazine and 4.5 Stars from Scene Magazine.

Mosey West is known for their unique performances, vast selection of original material, soaring harmonies, and live energy on stage. The trio has played the Fox Theatre, the Aggie Theater, the Hi-Dive, the Larimer Lounge and many other venues across their home state of CO. The band has toured the states of AR, OK, CO, WY and TX and played the Wakarusa Music Festival on June 1, 2012. Mosey West has shared the stage with the Moondoggies, the Heartless Bastards, Elliott Brood, Cameron McGill and What Army, Futurebirds, Thomas Hardy of Dead Confederate, the Patti Fiasco, the Kentucky Street Parlor Pickers, Faceman and Arliss Nancy.
