Richard A. Henries IV was born on February 24, 1975 in Monrovia, Liberia; onto the union of Mr. Franklin Asu Henries (alive) and Mrs. Matu Hoda Henries (deceased). His siblings consist of: 6 brothers & 5 sisters. He was inspired by Michael Jackson at an early age and started writing his own songs at the age 12.
He started his career with Buduburam Refugees School Choir (as a Base Singer) in 1991. Since then he has been in the music field, singing in various bands and groups (both gospel and secular). The album “Liberian Girl” is his first solo album with 11 tracks (all composed by him). He also plays Guitar, Flute and Saxophone. He is a video editor. And is currently a member of the band “Vibes” as a flutist and singer.
Outside the Music field he obtained a certificate in cosmetology. He is not married and does not have a child. He is also good in the field of comedy and is currently a co-presenter at Radio Monrovia 92.1FM morning joke session: "Duke Morning Show".
