Mr. Love Jones

Biography

Forming in January 2005 the four members made great strides working towards the goal of becoming a successful touring music act. One of the bands strongest assets was the ability to create the kind of heartfelt music you can hear on the recently "Apology" disc which delivers an intoxicating blend of styles that appeal to a broad base of music lovers.

“Although we like to think we have our own sound & style we have been compared to major acts like “CREED”, NICKELBACK, & 3 DOORS DOWN which is okay by me.” states Timmy Wonder, the guitar player for Mr. Love Jones. It’s was the bands live performance not the music that surprised most new fans. With the ever-charismatic Shane Wayne fronting the band, pleasing the crowd never posed a problem and with each stellar performance the band captivated a steadily growing fan base.

For over half a decade the band attempted to put the pieces into place and did inch closer to its goal. Financing and building two separate studios, recording an album, shooting videos, captivating audiences, and rockin' the world-wide-web all while they continuing to write heart-felt music.

Mr. Love Jones parted ways for the final time in early 2010 just before finishing work on their second full length album which included popular songs such as "Ms. Rainy Day", "My Daughters Eyes", rockers "Havok", Creeper & "You Don't Know" Before finally disassembling the band did release two demo's "Barely American" & American Nightmare which can both be downloaded for FREE on the band's Reverbnation Page.

The last song ever written by the band was the tune "Long Time Coming" that is still set to be released sometime via Timmy Wonder Music Entertainment in 2012 along with several of the original tunes that were to be on the bands second full length album.
