International Soul Singer-Songwriter Ms. Monique originates from South Florida and now has occupied Atlanta, GA. as a residence when she is not on the road performing. And just like the majority of Super Gifted vocalist when she discovered she had a unique singing voice she embraced it. And when she discovered that she could grab people’s attention through belting out challenging songs she really used it to her advantage and never once looked back. Ms. Monique has a profound passion to create music that is really soulful and just like Soul Singers Joss Stone & Adele to name a few she thrives off of producing music that is true to who she is regardless of what the trend says. In 2005, she released her 1st full studio album "SOUL SESSIONS CHAPTER I ". The album included a group of great tunes like “Mr. Do Right, Love Therapy, Lollipop all of which helped her to win several awards and receive the Soul & Blues Magazine’s #1 Independent Album of the year in 2006. Ms. Monique has had a couple Independent Releases including the super powerful tell it like it is “You Did It To You” and the Club Banger “Tonite” landed on several different Music Compilations. Now the Fall 2011 she unveils to the world her much anticipated Sophomore Album Project leading off with the New Aged Classic Soul Ballad “ONE MAGIC MOMENT" taken from her forth coming album titled “Ready, Set, Go”.
