Born in France in 1970, Muriel Vergnaud went to the National Conservatory of Music, Boulogne-Billancourt, Paris, receiving a Diploma in flute (classical and contemporary programs) in 1989, and a First Prize in chamber music in 1990. She holds a University Diploma of General Education in musicology and art history from La Sorbonne University in Paris. From 1992 to 1994, she attended Orsay University, Paris and graduated with a University Diploma in early music education.
In 1995, she founded the LiveYourSong™-Multi-Arts French Program for children (LYS™), a music program which allows children 6 months - 6 years to learn French while singing her original songs. For years, she taught her unique concept in numerous NYC schools including the Lycée Français de New York. She currently runs her musical workshop in Brooklyn, NY.
