The Muzik Genesis project combines various genres and walks of life of music to incorporate into a plethora of emotions for the listener. The main philosophy driving Muzik Genesis is music should not be limited to one specific genre, genres should evolve with each other to create music and this is something that Muzik Genesis tries to convey through his music. The ideology behind Muzik Genesis is not being limited to the musical genres and to demonstrate that music is an active evolutionary force as part of our culture as it is always changing. Muzik Genesis attempts to also convey a spiritual journey through human existence combining various forms of genre.
Some of Muzik Genesis's recent projects and interests in projects include DJing Happy Hardcore, J-Core (Japanese Hardcore), J-Trance, and producing and infusing elements of Heavy Metal, Punk, Downtempo, Jazz, Electronic and Hip-Hop.
The artist first started out in 2008 when he took a high school course in music production at the age of 17, while enrolled in a Jazz ensemble at New Roads high school in Santa Monica, CA where he graduated from in 2009. While in high school he was influenced by rap artists such as Nas, Mos Def, Blue Scholars, Shing02, and bands like System of a Down, Tool, Rage Against The Machine and Flobots. He later attended UC Santa Cruz in 2009, studying Psychology and Politics. Many of the emerging themes from his music contain psychological and sociopolitical influences.
