Lola Lee has emerged defiantly on the Miami Hip-Hop scene, redefining feminity for a new generation of female Hip-Hop artist. As one of the leaders of rebel rock inspired and globally marketable artist of 2011, Lola Lee gives as good as she gets. Her newest single entitled “Pour it Up” leans to the club going audiences taste for quick rhythms and party going feel good lyrics. Her soon to be released single “How we roll” is collaboration with a southern Hip-Hop female artist and demonstrates that Lola Lee still has the street credibility necessary to captivate her urban audiences.

Born in Miami, FL Lola Lee was surrounded by a cultural mixture of sounds as well as tastes. “In Miami, you see and hear everything. There’s the Latinos, Haitians and everybody else all mixed up together.” It is because of her exposure to a myriad of cultures Lola Lee is able to carry a diverse fan base. Never catering to one group, she navigates her way effortlessly through urban and party scenes. She understands that the core of all successful entertainers is the ability to entertain.”I give the people what they want, you spend your money, and you want to have a good time.”

Lola Lee’s early years were spent absorbing everything around her and like most teenage girls she turned to a diary to relay all of her emotions. Eventually Lola Lee moved to poetry and poetry evolved in to lyrics. “I realized that everything I was writing had rhythm to it and I also found that the rhythm was an expression of my voice and thoughts as well.” Needless to say she put the diary down and picked up a notebook to catalogue her experiences. “That’s how we came up with the title of my CD the –“Memoirs of Lola Lee”.

The first release off the CD “Memoirs of Lola Lee” is “Pour it Up” its official release date is January 18, 2011.
