Renowned UK artist, Ed Accura, the founder and producer of the highly successful hip hop crew,617, has now unleashed his production skills in the form of a jazz influenced outfit under the name NOIZE.
NOIZE combines elements of jazz, funk and hip-hop with randomly produced electronic noise signals, and noise based non-traditional musical instruments.
It is characterized by a strong hip hop backbone with electronic compositions.
The aim was to create an avant-garde jazz inspired instrumental album that would tell a story simply by planting a seed of thought, then using the mood, vibe and various ambient sounds to take the listener on a journey created by their own imagination.

Ed Accura began to fulfil his passion for producing in the early 90’s with Street Jazz Productions. He produced his first release, the street jazz album Five X Five, which became an instant success on the UK underground scene and export markets.
In 2003, Ed Accura together with D.R.A. and Balistic, formed the UK hip hop crew, 617, which stormed into the music scene with their highly successful debut album, The Vault. The album included their mega European hit single, Always, featuring none other than the then UK Prime Minister, Tony Blair!!
Released on the independent label, Accura Records, 617 created a unique style of hip-hop by introducing famous vocal samples from the likes of Tony Blair and Anne Robinson into their tuneful rap lyrics and hip hop/urban beats.. Encouraged by his remarkable achievement, Ed Accura, returned to the recording studio in 2005, to begin work on 617’s follow-up album, Bittersweet, which was successfully released in October 2006, which included smash hits Drunk, featuring Gemma Carroll and Want You Back featuring US Chicago based rapper, Cardo.
In 2010, Ed Accura wrote and produced his incredible melodic, début solo hip-hop album, Observations of a Social Misfit.
Ed Accura managed to create a lyrically, expressive album, translating his thoughts into reflective provoking tracks, such as Stone Sober, £1000 For A Pair Of Heels, Superstar, Vibe & Hype and Wall Candy.

Now fast forward to 2011 in the most innovative stylistic move, the NOIZE debut album
“Silent Journey”, makes a grand entrance in the form of 12 track street jazz piece.
The fist single “Lady Blue” features Jigisha delivering a beautiful solo on a grand piano and also featured is Ed Accura’s 8 month old daughter, Lolita on the chorus. He quotes “I handed her the microphone and she immediately tried to eat it.. After 5 minutes she went on to voice out what can only be described as an amazing sound.
Other tracks on the album include the enchanting Paparazzi, the club influenced track Noize!, Mile High and The ending.
The album also features Time, Heavy and Winter Hill which were written and co-produced by
Bud Formation, Gino Felino and Planet Zephyr respectively.
Songstress Mariya also lends her vocal harmonies on a number of tracks across the album.

The “Silent Journey”, album and single Lady Blue” are available through i-tunes and all major on-line distributions sites!!
