Nancy Jo grew up in a loving Christian home. Her young adult life had several heart-wrenching losses. After diligently and persistently seeking the Lord, He blessed her one day with a miraculous personal encounter which changed her life, leaving her with great joy and no doubt as to the existence of a personal, loving God. He confirmed His identity to her through the power of The Holy Spirit. Nancy Jo believes one of her mandates from God is to bring His gifts of saving grace and healing presence through Holy Spirit anointed music.
Nancy was born in Michigan. During her teenage years her family moved to Wisconsin and later to Toronto, Canada. Her young life was blessed and filled with music. On weekends, her Father had his own orchestra and played saxophone. Her Mom was the lead vocalist. Nancy Jo’s parents were musical models and highly influential in her love of music.
She has a professional career, is a mother of three grown children, and is the widow of Rev. Jerry Hinsen. Married for twenty-three years, they experienced God’s wonderful love in their relationship that provided the foundation for a dynamic restoration ministry together. They conducted evangelistic meetings throughout he Midwest, Southwest, and Northern CA, as well as Christian radio and television ministries in the San Francisco Bay Area. Nancy Jo served in a variety of administrative positions such as missions secretary and newsletter editor, prayer ministry administrator and held weekly world evangelism prayer meetings at her church.
