Biography

Napoli Urban Folk was born on a cold snowy night in Pittsburgh, PA. sometime at the beginning of the new millenium. In 2007 Napoli Urban Folk released the album "Niro Niro" ("Deep Black"). One of the favorite venues of Napoli Urban Folk is the Club Cafè in Pittsburgh (http://www.clubcafelive.com/HTML/home.php) Check out for oncoming gigs. The new album, "Anema 'Nquieta" ("Troubled Soul"), released in June 2010 is acoustic, centered on guitar and voice. All the songs are composed by Antonio Lordi from Napoli, Italy. Antonio is a singer-songwriter. He wrote hundreds songs. He is the lead voice and plays guitar and harmonica. Layo Puentes from Los Teques, Venezuela plays the bass. Layo is also the second voice on the majority of the tunes. The drums and percussions are played by Lucas Savage from Santa Fe, New Mexico. He plays percussion, drum set and cajón.
