Originally from Colombia, Nathalia moved to the United States to attend the Berklee College of Music where she graduated with a degree in Music Therapy. As a MT-BC (Music Therapist - Board Certified) Nathalia has worked in a number of educational and clinical settings including hospitals, schools, nursing homes and treatment centers. Her experience as a music therapist and early childhood music educator inspired her to use music as a tool for teaching her children Spanish.
In 2012, Nathalia released her debut album, 'From Here To There' -- a compilation of songs in English and Spanish performed in wide variety of musical styles. Soon after, Nathalia began performing at a number of events throughout Los Angeles. Her second album, titled ‘Dream a Little’ (Sueña un Poquito), was released at the end of 2014 and features musicians from the US and South America. The bilingual jams take listeners on musical adventures, like cruising down the Amazon River and blasting off into outer space!
Nathalia's South American heritage has served as a major influence in much of the music she creates. Co-produced and performed by Grammy Award winners, her albums have received stellar reviews from a number of bloggers and radio stations. She has performed at a number of museums, festivals, libraries and cultural centers and has been a featured guest on Univision’s “Despierta America” and CBS’s “The Talk”.
