TEMBLOR PRODUCTIONS BIOGRAPHY
Fernando “Nando” Wilkins Jr (vocals) and Neftali “Talo” Rosado Jr (percussion) are musicians from the San Francisco Bay Area. Fernando and Neftali, of Panamanian and Puerto Rican descent respectfully, have been an integral part of the bay area latin music scene for many years.
In 2010, Fernando and Neftali collaborated and created TEMBLOR PRODUCTIONS© in order to produce a CD in which they could use their combined creativity as producers, composers and musicians to help fill a void existing in the latin salsa genre, the decline in its popularity brought upon by the advent of other popular styles. “Our production company is unique, its bridging east and west coast latin nerve centers with a principle based on revitalizing salsa music globally” (Neftali Rosado Jr.)
Another distinctive facet of their collaboration is their principle of refraining from re-arranging and recording classic songs. They write, produce, record and perform their own original material exclusively. “With our ears to the street, we create salsa gems for the salseros. We want to delight salsa lovers and leave our own personalized mark in the genre” (Fernando Wilkins Jr.)
To produce their debut single, “Temblor De Rumberos ", Fernando and Neftali called upon the talents of world renowned latin music arrangers. Grammy Awarded, Máximo Rodríguez co-produced and recorded bass and vocals. Grammy awarded, Pablo “Chino” Núñez arranged and recorded percussion. Manny Mieles engineered and recorded vocals. Yeisson Villamar, Jose Davila and Ivan Renta are some of the other musicians that contributed on the project.
