BIOGRAPHY
“In one solitary breath, Nichole ALDEN’s voice will connect passionately and directly to your soul.”
Upon release of her self-produced debut effort, Under the Skin, ALDEN put together a 5-piece band and quickly made herself a fixture in Los Angeles’ highly competitive live music scene.
After a few years of extensive live presence, she found herself writing custom tracks for film including Sony Pictures’ top-grossing horror film “The Fog” and opening credit song for Ariel Vromen’s independent film “Rx: Simple Lies.”
ALDEN released the Lost Into Experience EP in the spring of 2009 and later that year was invited to perform in Hualien, Taiwan at Harley-Davidson’s National Touring Rally.
Songs from ALDEN’s catalog have been featured in advertising campaigns including Audi, Peugeot, and Harley-Davidson airing throughout Europe, South America, Australia, and Asia.
“So Beautiful (Not Looking Back)” was selected as the opening track on Warner Music Taiwan’s recent compilation of commercial hits alongside Damien Rice, James Blunt, and others. ALDEN’s music can also be heard in television promos for Australian drama Neighbours and the hit series Dexter.
Early 2010 saw the digital release of ALDEN’s sultry interpretations of Kanye West’s “Love Lockdown” and the classic Romantics’ hit “Talking In Your Sleep.” ALDEN’s music was recently featured in Im Sang-soo’s thriller remake of “The Housemaid.”
ALDEN released her third album “You Are Not Alone” on September 11, 2010.
