BIOGRAPHY
I have been playing music since the 80's. My first gig was in a world beat band in Germany playing percussion. Later on I played guitar and started writing my own songs. I performed in medium size venues of up to 3000 people, as well as open air concerts and smaller clubs.
in 1980, I traveled for a year around the world, visiting magical places in the East ~ Nepal, India, Burma, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Japan, China and finally arrived in the USA (Hawaii was my first stop).
I settled in Southern California and worked in my profession as an Art Director. Santa Barbara was a great place to make music with like-minded friends. During this time I started to do mostly home recordings and some concerts in the park.
Fate brought me to San Francisco in the late 80's. I have been living in the bay area since then and have played with some local musicians.
In 2010, I started to record with more professional equipment and also found some wonderful, professional musicians to create World Music.
I am working on an album of acoustic and electronic music with ideas from the many places that I have visited.
