Singer, actress and songwriter - The range of attributes that this young lady possesses is testimony to her love of the arts. A consummate artist and singer, Ntsikwane’s repertoire is just the tip of an amazing story that has just begun.
Born in Polokwane – a small town in South Africa, and the daughter of a musical father, Ntsikwane learnt music before she was formally trained. Her father and mentor who is a singer and pianist, stimulated this love affair with music, setting her on a journey of discovery, and the result is her debut album ‘Wonderful’, featuring the sing along hit favorite ‘Pule’. Ntsikwane has become an instant attraction at music and jazz festivals around South Africa, as she weaves her tales of love lost and gained, of hope for tomorrow, and of heavenly bliss and jazzy moods. And with the release of her sophomore album titled ‘The Soul Experiment’ her star is bound to shine much brighter.
Her style is smooth African jazz with undertones of traditional Sepedi sing along tunes, a favorite for people who love a good sing song. Her stage appearances have been laced with an aura that is hard to ignore, a deeply grown natural ability to draw you into her sound.
Her music is about being real in a world sidetracked by commercial emptiness and stereotypes, a celebration of life, its highs and lows, and the good old desire to be able to join in the chorus of life’s musical journey.
