Old Season formed in Dublin, Ireland in 2003 and released their first EP entitled 'Volume One' in 2005.
The band quickly developed a reputation as one of Ireland's premier live acts playing alongside acts such as Anvil,Slough Feg, Brocas Helm, Obituary and Samael.
Late 2006 and mid 2007 saw changes to the Old Season lineup as Ciaran Doyle and Dave Copely stepped in to replace Phillip Mahony and Ciaran O'Neill.
Once the new line-up was in place, the band laid low for 2008 to finalize material for their new release.
In February 2009 the band entered Foel Studios in Wales with producer Chris Fielding to record what would be their second release. 'Archaic Creation' was released on September 25th 2009 and comprised eight tracks.
