Only Ed and The Almost was created in 2003, following a lengthy gestation, from one human bean named Ed. The artist was born of ignorance, making it up as he went along, hoping--like a fine wine--to improve with age instead of turning into rancid vinegar. Earthlings all over the planet (except in South America) have purchased his music. Why does South America hate Only Ed and The Almost? Nobody knows. Ed is working on Antarctica, but the penguins have no thumbs or electricity. This makes for a problematic listening experience.

Only Ed and The Almost has released five albums. That's four of them below. That's why you're here, unless your visit is a horrible mistake. Maybe you should listen to a few of the miserly 30-second song samples anyway and try to make an informed choice based on this severely limited information. Or you could visit his bandcamp page ( http://onlyedandthealmost.bandcamp.com/ ) where the songs are full-length. What a concept!

In summary, Ed tried to write the kind of music he himself would listen to if it were written by somebody else.
