Osgood & Blaque Blues Band

Biography

Osgood and Blaque are honored on a blues marker alongside African-american musicians of note like Willie Dixon, Artie "bluesboy" White, Milt Hinton and others who have lived along Mississippi's bluestrail at Highway 61. Osgood admits: "We do our own thing. We write, record and perform our own music. We book our own shows. We promote our own concerts. We manage ourselves and do our own marketing. We do our own accounting, legal contracts and publishing. We sell our music on the internet, on the street, in the record stores, at the festivals and concerts, at the clubs, restaurants and coffeehouses, at our friend's houses, at the movies and, of course, right out of the trunk. The best thing about that, is, that all the money we make goes straight to us. That's why we're independent artists. We'll keep on writing, recording, performing and promoting ourselves and hopefully, with the help of our fans we'll get there".

Every now and again somebody comes along who brings back to our minds that there is still some uncharted talent ready to explode on the music scene, and this is the moment for Osgood & Blaque Blues Band. Osgood & Blaque Blues Band is the real deal.
