From the choir stands to the studio and from the church to the real world, it’s been an intense journey since P.E.A.R.L.® wrote her first song, “Through Christ I Can.” Since then, with support from her family and friends and God’s help, the young artist has authored numerous scripture-based songs and poems. Her songs and poems reflect passion, inspiration, emotion, honesty, truth, and God’s love. P.E.A.R.L.’s® unique writing style is integrated with basic life lessons from a young woman’s perspective. Her very name serves as a symbol and reminder of who females are in Christ and how important we truly are to Him. Her bold sound exudes a enjoyable, eclectic flare, all the while, challenging her listeners making this singer-songwriter shine bright in a quite dismal music industry (Phil. 2:13,15).
P.E.A.R.L.’s® service to God continues beyond her music. She is also the founder of P.E.A.R.L.® Projects which is a Christian organization established in the fall of 2007. The mission matches her desires for her listeners: to educate, empower, and rehabilitate females of all ages, races, and backgrounds through God’s love, the message of Jesus Christ, and various forms of ministry including music, literature, art, counseling, and so much more.
