BIOGRAPHY
A band from San José, Costa Rica, Patiño Quintana uses its 8-musician platform to mix as many influences as they can. Going from folk rock, to blues, jazz and pop, they're constantly in the quest for reinventing themselves.
With 2 studio albums in their portfolio, Camino De Aire (2009) and La Dulce Vida E.P. (2010) and another one soon to come, Patiño Quintana is playing locally at the most important venues, including the Festival Imperial, one of the most important festivals in Central America, performing alongside acts like Maroon 5, Bjork and TV On The Radio.
The band has collected several important recognitions throughout its 4 year career, including the BEST NEW BAND ACAM award in 2009 for Camino De Aire and the BEST POP ROCK EP 2010 ACAM award for La Dulce Vida E.P. With important appearances in the International Arts Festival of Costa Rica two years in a row, Patiño Quintana is becoming one of the most influential local bands in the scene.
