Patricia Fitzpatrick's varied career has taken her from Detroit's WJR "Make Way For Youth Chorus " weeekly radio show to the glamorous world of night clubs including the Detroit Playboy Club . In the early years of her career, Fitzpatrick , known then as "Sandy Beach" was under contract with MGM Records for a brief period. She also did back up singing on radio and TV comemrcials. After a stint in community theater and summer stock, Fitzpatrick 'retired' to raise her family of five children.
While she was the Director of Tourism for the resort town of Provincetown, Ma, Fitzpatrick stepped back up to the microphone ( after a 20 year hiatus) and captivated her new audience with : wit, humor , style and her Cabaret Shows.
For the past decade, Fitzpatrick has toured the United States and Europe performing in cabaret clubs. She was nominated for an award for her hit Cabaret show
" A Tribute to Peggy Lee" and " I'm Single Again, and this time it's not my fault".... a poignant ,yet humorous show -she wrote and produced- revolving around the death of her husband and her eventual re-entrance into the cyber world of 'dating'. "Single Again " premiered in NYC in 2007, at the reknown "Don't Tell Mama" to rave reviews . Fitzpatrick has worked with pianists and musical directors : Brian Patton , John Thomas and Bobby Wetherbee in her cabaret shows.
She recently stepped back to her musical "roots" - light Jazz- and acheived her dream 'gig ' when she performed at London's Jazz Club - Ronnie Scott's last November.

" A Dream or Two" is a sassy, swinging tribute to the jazz era of the 50's and is Fitzpatrick's Debut CD. The CD has a 'live' feel to it - arrangements by BrianPatton are orignal and created 'on the spot'. The CD is a collection of classic of swing tunes and gentle ballads. Fitzpatrick has also included an original hot swing tune ,written by award winning songwriter and compser Bob Levy , " All I Really Need is You". Songs for " A Dream or Two" were choosen for their lyric excellence and the stories they tell.
Her next project is a 'Bass and Face' Jazz CD, "Basso" due out in 2011 featuring bassist Ron Ormsby - who is on "A Dream or Two" and is now presently performing in Brazil.
Fitzpatrick is home based on Cape Cod , Massachusetts where she performs on a regular basis in : Boston, The Cape and New York City.
Her Debut CD is dedicated to her children :Kevin,Kathleen, Patrick, Timothy and Colleen who have encouraged her to live her dream... or two!
