BIOGRAPHY
Patrick Billings

Patrick Randall Billings was born to parents Dorothy and Theodore
Billings in a district called Maybole in the Parish of St Elizabeth,
Jamaica. Patrick’s musical background goes way back, to the good ole
days when his Dad, Theodore Billings strung his guitar in their
backyard and sang daily. As it turned out, Theodore Billings’ habit
influenced his son's love for music so much so, that by the time
Patrick turn eighteen he was already doing music.

Patrick is the only male in a family of six children. He attended
Pisgah All Age School, continuing his study at Seaford Town Training
Center where he acquired a Certificate in Plumbing. After graduating,
Patrick went to Kingston to live with his older sister. There he met a
DJ called Major Problem and singer Fabian Brown. Both were impressed
with Patrick's vocals after hearing him sing and encouraged him to
start recording. “They took me to various recording studios like
Jimmy Cliff, Harry J and Aquarius Recording Studios. Major Problem
introduced me to Producer Mikey Carol of Creative Sounds Recording
Studio. It was at that studio that Patrick recorded his first song
called ‘Rainbow Lover.’ The song made up a compilation album entitled
Hot Shot, distributed by Creative Sounds and got much airplay.
Patrick migrated to Florida to further pursue his dream of becoming an
established reggae Artist. He was introduced to Producer Moody of
Moods Records and recorded singles such as ‘Play I Reggae Music’ and
‘Wishing’ . Patrick also combine with various artists on a album titled ‘Vertical
Uprising.’ He also recorded a track entitled ‘Suprise’ on the Musical
Ambassador Label.

Patrick took a break to focus on getting other businesses he had, off
the ground. January 2011, he decided it was time to return to the
studios and when he did, he recorded five (5)songs, It Dread, God is
Love, Your Eyes, Ninety-Niners and Special Lady. Patrick considers himself
mature and prepared to share with music fans his life experiences and
inspiration through music. “Because of my hard work and dedication to
music, in 5 years I see myself as a Reggae Super Star chroming the top
spot of several reggae charts and performing all over the world. By
positive and motivational lyrics he will break down barriers so that
everyone can feel the reggae music in their bones.”
