Patrick Major was one of Maui's well known acoustic musician's, playing his own mix of original guitar and vocal songs mixed with rock classics from the last four decades. He also played drums for the Hoku Awarded “VooDoo Suns”. Patrick moved to Maui in 2001 to pursue his songwriting and…”What else…just be in Hawaii”. He recorded a studio CD – “Odd Jobs” in 2002 and recently recorded a live CD – “Live at Lahaina Coolers”.
After a six year stint playing Maui’s … Tommy Bahama’s, Princess Cruise Lines, Cheeseburger in Paradise and many conventions, it was time for him to come back to Tahoe and pick up where he left off. Patrick Major has been a professional musician since the age of 14. He has played drums in various groups and toured around the globe, later adding guitar to his talents to accompany his vocals and songwriting abilities.
He's been performing as a solo guitarist for many years now and has developed a strong rhythmic style that is completely his own.
While living in Northern California, his powerful vocals earned him the
Lake Tahoe's Best Male Vocalist award.
