True art cannot be defined. True artists, more often than not, fall victim to the thirst for definition by many.
"Antimusic. Composed, engineered, mixed, performed, produced, recorded and self-released by independent Seattle experimentalist Patton Thomas. This music tests the psychological and audiological limits of the listener to expand and adapt to it's equally broad and harsh horizons. The sounds and textures exposed within each track challenge the artistic boundaries associated with the modern music fan's preconceptions of the avant-garde. With each release of white noise there is an interwoven ominous statement that is delivered either by use of stone-direct poetry painted against the surrounding, overwhelming ambience. As the presented work progresses, the ear-splitting noise and endless screams of social unrest give way to more melodic passages driven by acoustic guitars, pianos and echoing vocals that carry on into infinity. By the time one completes their journey through Thomas' musical and social contrast between the sadistic and the passive, they are left with a bruised but cathartic lease on the dark societal landscape they see before them, and ever aware of it's fascist mind programming. They are inspired to sodomize Karl Marx. They are overwhelmed by a sonic orgasm. They are met with his own anarchism in stereo."
