Paul Gellman is a versatile musician, singer/songwriter, and music coach based on Toronto, Ontario and Gabriola, B.C. He has played professionally for over 35 years in bands and solo, including a stint with Perth County Conspiracy (does not exist) in the mid-70's, with his own band Island in the late 70s, and since then in many combinations of the Paul Gellman Band and others. Paul plays piano, guitar and violin and sings. His songs are varied in style, and are based on a strong soul element blended with pop, rock, jazz, blues, country, folk, and a touch of klezmer and gypsy violin. Paul performs and coaches in the Toronto area, and spends summers on Gabriola. His first CD "On This Island" was released in 2005, and he has been writing and performing new tunes since then.
