Raised amoung the mountains of Western North Carolina and steeped in the songs of the Appalachains, Pierce Edens took his gravelly vocals, threw them into a rusty barrel with the songs he grew up on, and mixed the brew with the stock of his guitar to bring forth his own brand of music. Joined by the talents of Matthew Smith on pedal steel, lap steel, dobro and lead guitar, Michael Olivier on upright and electric bass, and David Mack on drums, this collective of musicians are mining the music of Pierce Edens and bringing forth diamonds in the rough.
