Pluto's Still A Planet is a Funk Rock 4-piece based out of Columbia, MO. The 4 members were great friends, and started to sway crowds as soon as they hit the stage. The band has been serving up their unique stylings since 2011, and Gravitron marks the first release from the band. The album was self produced in the bands home studio (Ninth Planet Studios), so be sure to look for them at a stage near you. With sounds that resemble a blend of Cage The Elephant, Sublime, and 311, this band has something to offer every listener.
With meaningful verses and catchy choruses supported by a funky and relentless rhythm section and distinct lead guitar parts, this band has really developed a sound that stands apart. Eric Wiedemier delivers the groovy bass lines with Rob Pikey driving the rhythm on drums. Paul Gray delivers emotional and soulful lead guitar with Adam Weber on vocals and rhythm guitar. Together, they each stand out individually stylistically but they come together with a unique unified sound.
Delivering captivating high energy shows that anybody can enjoy, they are a band you won't want to miss.
