Polyphase is an energetic independent Alternative Indie Rock band with an American/British influence from the Rep. of Panama...Despite the fact that Polyphase is in a Latin market and their lyrics are mainly in english, except for a few spanish songs, They are among the most talented Rock bands in their country (Panama)....This band has history dating back to 1997 when they were originally called "Big Fat Hen", and they played another genre of music...In 2003 they changed their band name to "Polyphase", the reason being that their music evolved into something else, and they were taking another musical direction...Since 2003, Polyphase has produced 4 albums on their own, starting with "Atrophy" in 2004, "Incision" in 2005, "Scissors Are Better Than Knives" in 2006, and finally their Masterpiece, "Satellites for Stella" in 2009....Polyphase plays all over their country (Panama), and Costa Rica at the moment, and they have played in New York City, Miami, and Jamaica in the past.....They have had 3 music videos in rotation on MTV Latino, and they are played on all the popular local TV and Radio stations in Panama...
