Priesthood

Priesthood is Led by founding members; J-Rizzo(rapper/writer hailing from Compton), Mr. Swift (beat
maker/sonic architect hailing from Paramount) And Chico Breeze (rapper/writer hailing from
Carson).

Priesthood scored numerous Awards and Accolades in the faith-based rap/r&b market in the early 2000's
earning two(2) Dove Award Nominations for their first three albums with indie label Metro One Records-
(Gospel Diva - Crystal Lewis' record label).

The group has performed nationally and internationally appearing many times in Japan, Hawaii, The Virgin
Islands and beyond! Touring numerous secular arenas, forums and clubs, gaining new fans and establishing
secular credibility.

At times performing over 300+ shows per year, Priesthood rocked the stage and toured with many of the
following: Arrested Development, Ying Yang Twins, DJ Quik, Phillip Bailey/Earth Wind & Fire,
Sugafree, Brenton Wood, Ready 4 the World, The Dazz Band, Jon Gibson, Jaci Velasquez,
Audio-Adrenaline, Salvador, T-Bone, P.O.D., Switchfoot, The Katinas, Two or More, The Kry,
Rebecca St. James, Out Of Eden, Imisi(Youth Exodus), MC Blvd, Stryper And Professional Wrestlers -
The Tonga Kid, Rikishi And Many more!

Priesthood's freshman album; "Sprinkle Me Luv", sold out of print with whopping album sales of over
50,000+ copies sold in the year 2000....An incredible achievement from a group that had no video for this album,
little to no radio airplay and very little advertising! Facebook, Twitter and all social networks were not conceived
as of yet, with gospel rap still in its infancy stages. Now with the present opportunities of digital downloads,
sales of this album have climaxed over the 500,000 mark And still counting!

In the latter part of 2009, Priesthood released their first independent album on “High Lyfe Inc.” records.
The album entitled ; "Thug Worship", featured two friends and guests artists; Kartoon And Tapasu.
Priesthood collabed with record producer Ronnie King (Tupac, Snoop Dogg, Mary J.Blige, Mariah Carey)
The album produced the smash hit single; “Goin' Home”, accompanied by a stellar video which aired on JCTV,
Fuse TV and many more!

Today, J-Rizzo, Mr. Swift and Chico go back to their (Sprinkle Me Luv) roots by releasing the hit single;
“Close To You”, slated June 11th, 2012 on CDbaby and iTUNES.
