BIOGRAPHY
Swedish indiepunk quartet Prinsen Av Bhutan started in fall 2011. Four university students met each other for the first time and all of them being new in town, they quickly started a band to pass the time in between studies.
Prinsen Av Bhutan's sound is raw and unpredictable but often with a large hook. Influences range from grunge to pop and folk although the band is steadily anchored in the indie rock scene.
In early 2012 they released their first EP: Bruttonationallycka, containing upbeat song Myskväll Hos Annika and moodier rock anthem Syndafloden. Although not a commercial success the release recieved positive reviews from various small underground- and indie websites and earned them gigs in their home country.
The follow-up, titled Svartkonst, was released the following year.
