The musically trained Douglas Jay Hertel mashes together a blend of electronic elements and melodic songwriting that encompasses all moods, from wistful, to happy, to love. The project, Prose in Rosette, is a beautiful complex instrumentation reflecting Douglas Jay Hertel music background, going through four levels of music theory and learned a great deal about atonal and experimental music in American Iconoclast.
The Prose in Rosette project is unbelievably catchy creating raunchy lo-fi guitar soundscapes with an electronic texture. Heavily influenced by Alternative Rock and Electro-Acoustic music, Douglas Jay Hertel has a lot to share.
