BIOGRAPHY
In late 2009 former Collapsar guitarist stephen sheppert began writing music with drummer David Leonard in the hopes of creating something new and different from past projects, thus RAEDON KONG was born. With more of an emphasis on the "feel" of the music rather than the technicality, RAEDON KONG creates songs with solid riffs, layered synth and guitar textures, emotionally charged vocals and drumming reminiscent of 1960-1970 prog rock ala King Crimson. Although heavy and often lumped into the metal category, RAEDON KONG sits well in the midst of experimental projects such as Zeni Geva, Eagle Twin, Helms Alee and maybe even a little Voivod?
