Started playing Alto Sax at age 6, Raised in LosAngeles and Omaha Nebr. Doing Shows by age 14 and Recording, T.V. Appearances, Bands and Songwriting, Threw his Teens. Richie has Performed with and Studied under such Greats as Johnny Otis, Buddy Miles, Shuggie Otis, Stemsy Hunter, Lalomie Washburn, Norman Conners, Angela Bofield, Rickey Minor, Lester Abrams, Hank Crawford, Les McCann, and Preston Love to name a Few. He Started Saxworldprod. in 1985 and Released his First Lp, the Hit Single in 1986 FED UP and WISH I HAD A DIME featuring Carey Washington on Olive Branch Record Label.
Also Mentoring/Producing Young People well as Performing Around LosAngeles, for over 20 years.
1999 co-Produced the Loves of Omaha C.D. That feature Brother Norman and Preston Love.
In 2001 He Released Richie Love Volume 1 the exciting Musical Potpourri. featuring Legendary Artists Preston Love and Buddy Miles and many more.
Richie has Performed on Thousands of Recording, Major Jazz, R&B, Blues, Folk, Festivals and Shows of All Kinds and Mentored Young People for the Nebraska. Arts Council. Richie is the Youngest Son of World Renowned Saxophonist PRESTON LOVE, who played with such Great Legends from Count Basie, Lena Horne,Johnny Otis to Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, the Jackson 5 and All of the Motown Family. He was
the First West Coast Orchestra Leaded/Contractor for Berry Gordy and Motown During the 60's. This is Richie's Genetics.
