"This young lady has put her heart and soul into this CD and it warrant’s your attention"-AOR Dream Zone.
Robyn Marie was born and raised in Metro Detroit and loves the sights and sounds of the area. She’s always felt blessed to be surrounded by so much music and so many extraordinary artists. At first glance you would not expect anything powerful to come out of Robyn, but a book cannot be judged by its cover. Robyn’s powerful vocals and moving delivery captivate an audience. Her sound can be described as a mix between Pat Benatar and Martina McBride.
Robyn co-wrote the songs on her debut album “Who I Am” and her second album “Desire”. Both are available on CDbaby, ITunes and several other digital sites. Both albums were a big accomplishment for her. With hits like “Don’t Ever Change”, “Standing in your Shadow” and “Soar”, she has gained the attention of many people. “Desire” was just released in the beginning of March 2012 and Robyn is eager for her fans to hear it. She is most proud of the song “Strong Enough” that she wrote for her two boys.
Robyn has experience as a lead singer for local bands. She is currently the lead singer of the recently developed band “Sweet Alchemy.” She has been involved and placed in local singing competitions, appeared on Oakland University’s “Live at Oak” TV show and been honored to sing the National Anthem at many sports events including the Detroit Shock.
As a wife and mom and two, Robyn finds inspiration in her kids. They motivate her and give her strength. Her husband also remains her biggest supporter. She is always excited to share her talent and appreciates all those who listen and enjoy the music she has to share.
