Radio Cult

Biography

Radio Cult formed in 2005 when the members decided they wanted to put together a band that rocked like no other band. They first hit the stage on July 1, 2005 and after performing over 100 shows in their first year together, Radio Cult released their debut CD, Mix Tape, on July 1, 2006 - their one-year anniversary! Since then, the band hasn’t slowed down at all. They released their second CD, Retroactive, in 2007 followed by their third CD in 2008: Grooves From The Grave (a tribute to classic metal and punk from teh 1970s - 1990s). 2011 saw the release of the Radio Cult's first album of all-original music, Never Enough.

The band spends much of their time on the road and is well past the 750-show mark. Radio Cult has performed all over the United States from California to the beaches of the East Coast and in 2008 had their first tour in Europe. Songs from their CDs are getting radio play across the country and around the world. They’ve done numerous radio interviews, performed on television and have two songs featured in the horror movie Rise of the Ghosts. The band is the subject of the video game Radio Cult: Loadout in which gamers can play the different members of the band. Bambi Lynn is now a featured artist with Dean Guitars and the band signed endorsement deals with GHS strings and Coffin Case. When they aren’t on the road, Radio Cult is in the recording studio. In addition to their four CDs, the band has written and recorded music for movie soundtracks, live events and even a comic book superhero theme song!

Regardless of their long list of achievements, Radio Cult is primarily a live band. If you see their show, you’ll know that this costume-clad clan exemplifies just what entertainment can be. Radio Cult is a circus of excitement! Their show is an action packed, double feature of fun! The members of Radio Cult LOVE to play in a band and it shows. When the band has fun, the crowd has fun and with Radio Cult the crowd really has a blast! So what are you waiting for? Check out Radio Cult today!
