Ralph Oyaga (born Rafael Humberto Oyaga Tagle) moved from his birthplace, Colombia, to Los Angeles at the age of twelve. His older brother Juan Carlos introduced him at an early age to rock legends like Led Zeppelin, The Who and Black Sabbath. At age 16 he bought an old acoustic guitar at a yard sale for $5 dollars and taught himself how to play it. Before long he was writing songs and playing them for anyone who would listen.
Ralph holds a Juris Doctorate and is a licensed lawyer in California. He also has a Masters in Business Administration and is a business executive working on everything from strategic planning to mergers and acquisitions. He enjoys art in all forms including photography and film. All the while, he continues to write music and reinvents himself with each new album.
Music is indeed this Renaissance man’s deepest passion. His early hits include “Not Me” and “Naked Ecstasy” which showcase his masterful imagery and eclectic writing style. His latest work is a collection of love songs in Spanish which draw on Alternative Rock influences such as Foo Fighters and Green Day with Ralph’s signature poetic writing style.
