Randin Graves is a full time, award-winning film composer delivering unique film and television music from his professional home studio or full scoring stage. Equally at home in classical and pop music worlds, he holds a B.A. cum laude in music composition from the well-regarded new music program at the University of California at San Diego, and has played in rock, electronica, folk, reggae, funk, blues, jazz and world fusion bands.
Randin's instrumental expertise includes guitar (electric including fretless, steel, nylon, 12-string and baritone acoustic and electric bass plus dabbling in ukelele and mandolin), keyboards (traditional piano/organ/synth plus top quality orchestral and percussion samples) and the Japanese koto. He is world renowned as an expert on the Australian didgeridoo, having played for 19 years, including five years living with masters in a remote Aboriginal community.
He has scored 8 features and 60+ shorts, and his work has appeared on television, ads for Amazon.com and others, a NASA video of the final space shuttle launch, countless CDs of his own and other artists, a video game, theatre and dance performances and a children's education website. He is currently working primarily on films but is open to any creatively fulfilling projects.
