Whoever said that lightning doesn’t strike the same place twice, never met Randy Gill, the brother of R&B singer Johnny Gill. Randy is no novice to the entertainment industry. He has had a successful career as a member and founder of the MCA R&B group II D Extreme. They received a gold album for their self-entitled freshman project. Their first single CRY NO MORE was a billboard hit and reached the TOP 5 on the charts. This versatile artist has written for R&B recording artists Shai as well as his multi-talented brother Johnny Gill. Randy also collaborated with Teddy Pendergrass on Slow Ride To Heaven and has performed with Usher at the City of Hope in Los Angeles. He has appeared and/or performed on Soul Train, Arsenio Hall, BET and an array of other television and radio shows throughout the country. Since his II D Extreme days he has been writing, producing and mentoring new artists in the Washington DC area. He is the host of BBRBR-Bringing Back R&B Radio, and can be seen performing backup with his brother Johnny. In 2007, Randy takes center stage with his soon-to-be released Gillology CD. His songs express emotions of Romance, Desire and Love. Randy’s musical rendition of the ultimate marriage proposal is called "MARRY ME". With infectious lyrics such as.."I love you more than I did yesterday baby. I look at you, I’m thankful everyday. I can’t wait to see your face when I’m down on bended knee asking will you marry me’. His smooth sensual vocals can be heard in the ballad "Ready For Me’ where he sets the mood and dims the lights. He let’s you know that there’ll be no teasing, just pleasing tonight. In the song Radio,
Randy tells a female caller to a radio station looking for love, that he is the answer. I’ll let you be the judge of that. Without further ado Ladies and Gentlemen….
MR. Randy Gill
