Redgy Blackout

Biography

The brainchild of Scott Perrie and Jeremy Breaks, Redgy Blackout was born soon after they started collaborating in 2006. Redgy is a character they created to embody their music and become their mascot of sorts.

The dynamic duo came together like magnets from two very different ends of the musical spectrum. Scott grew up singing in choir, playing trumpet in band and performing in theatre. Jeremy on the other hand was a metal-head and played in numerous hardcore bands growing up. Had they gone to the same high school Jeremy probably would have made fun of Scott, but now they make music together... what a twist of fate!

Fast-forward to the present and these two singer/songwriters are really coming into their own. They create music that is upbeat and fun. Not afraid to dabble into folk, reggae and swing it all comes together with pop sensibility. Call them roots rock. Call them retro pop. They don’t really care. What matters to them is writing great songs, one at a time.
