Writing songs and recording has been a friend of mine for many years. It helps me express myself and to release (or maybe I should say unleash) something that I think is funny, onto the unsuspecting world. This gives me great pleasure. It’s right up there with oyster shooters and a big thick steak.
What is it with radicchio? It’s bitter. Who would eat that willingly?
My sweet wife Marie puts up with my foibles and even listens to each and every one of my songs when they are newborns. What a gift. Thanks honey.
These days I strictly write and record, but back in the day, when Northwest Rock was all fired up from the success off The Kingsmen’s Louis Louie, my band, The Morning Reign, was playing a lot. We ended up releasing a few singles and even had one bubbling under in Billboard, but alas, no cigar. I would like to say right here and right now that the fact that those boys in my band were willing to learn the crappy songs I was writing in those days basically qualifies them for sainthood.
I hope you enjoy my songs as much as I do writing and recording them.
