Rich Smith is a performer, composer, and music producer, who has enchanted audiences with his impressive piano and vocal performances since the age of 6. With a passionate and effortless improvisational style, Rich’s performances and CD’s have received critical acclaim worldwide. His music has been featured in film, television, radio, theater, and events for such clients as the Producers Guild of America, Premiere Radio Networks, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and currently, Green Living Project, which documents and promotes successful and unique models of sustainability from around the world.

Rich grew up in Wellesley, Massachusetts, served four honorable years in the U.S. Air Force (including world tours as a pianist for “Tops in Blue”), went on to graduate from Berklee College of Music in Boston, then moved to Los Angeles, California in 1996, to pursue his career as a performer and composer. He can often be seen performing in the Los Angeles area, trying out new material on unsuspecting crowds.

Rich was quoted in the LA Times by Joseph Hanania: "My soul feels like a freight train, pushing me to do the music.... There are some things I don't have to question, I just know. Music is one of them. Even if I lost my hands, I'd find a way to play."
