Rich Smith is a performer, composer, and music producer, who has enchanted audiences with his impressive piano and vocal performances since the age of 6. With a passionate and effortless improvisational style, Rich’s performances and recordings have received critical acclaim worldwide. He performs locally and abroad, as a soloist or with groups. Rich premiered a co-written piece, “For You We Sing, America”, with the 562nd Air Force Band. His latest album, “The 12 Keys of Christmas”, fuses his natural style with timeless carols.
Rich grew up in Wellesley, Massachusetts, served four honorable years in the U.S. Air Force (including world tours as a pianist for “Tops in Blue”), went on to graduate from Berklee College of Music in Boston, then moved to Los Angeles, California in 1996, to pursue his career as a performer and composer.
