It took three years of hard work in the studio before Richard Ellers finally delivered: “Good Enough!” - his third CD release in five years. The result is an album chock full of musical styles: rock, folk, 40’s swing, Hawaiian steel and more—all featuring Ellers unique approach to songwriting, combining sardonic lyrics with captivating and compelling arrangements. Ellers songs reflect the many flaws and foibles of the human condition. From the twists and turns of human relationships (“Please Leave Me Behind” and “The Other Shoe”) to our struggle to find our place in the cosmos (“Sacred and Profane” and “My Daily Prayer”). Improving on his acoustic guitar and ukulele skills and working closely with Musical Director John Girton, Ellers musical growth shines in these eleven new songs. Ellers also has some recent notable musical credits to his name from his 2006 “Love Songs, Ballads and Broadsides. “ In 2007 “Sunset on the Sea” went to Number 9 on the FMQB Adult Contemporary
