Rivethead

Biography

RIVETHEAD is an industrial metal band out of Dallas Texas who plays tight, in your face, shut up and pay attention, full throttle kickass music! Never relying too much on repetition, RIVETHEAD constantly changes things up in their songs giving the music great hooks with many twists and turns. The band relies on heavy solid guitar riffs, dirty-clean vocals, and blood pumping groovy rhythms that will immediately set your head right. The outrageous staging at their live shows always give fans a show within a show.

Have you ever wondered what Metallica would sound like if they were hardcore Ministry fans? Or, wondered what would happen if you crossed Disturbed with Rob Zombie? RIVETHEAD gives you those sounds along with influences from Static-X, Nine Inch Nails, Rammstein and Marilyn Manson. Remaining true to their heavy metal roots ensures that the band's distinctive sound will never get stale and predictable. In order to keep the music fun, the band has metalized several pop songs including Sexy Back (Justin Timberlake), Hella Good (No Doubt), Toxic (Brittany Spears), Run Like Hell (Pink Floyd), ET (Katy Perry), Synchronicity II (The Police) and Smack My Bitch Up (The Prodigy).

RIVETHEAD has played on bills with Sevendust, Mushroomhead, Saliva, Crossfade, Powerman 5000, Drowning Pool, Trivium, Black Stone Cherry, BILE, A Dozen Furies, The Burden Brothers, Silvertide, Element Eighty, Green Jellÿ, Psychostick, Nashville Pussy, Earshot, Divide the Day and more. The band receives national airplay on Sirrius XM, the nationally syndicated Lex and Terry Morning Radio Network and more. RIVETHEAD’s music has been played by the Dallas Stars at the American Airlines center for several years and is played every time the Stars go on a power play. Their music has also been picked up on several TV shows, movies, and commercials, including MTV, VH1, National Geographic, Discovery/TLC, Spike TV, and XKO/Xtreme Knockout. Chances are, you have heard the band without even realizing it.

The award winning band is currently recording their seventh album at Nomad Studios which is due to be released in March 2nd, 2012.
