The name Road to Oblivion got its name because our drummer, Don Holland had come to rehearsal one Sunday morning, after gigging out until 4 am, and said he was exhausted. He said it was like he was on the "road to oblivion." We all looked at each other and decided that as musicians, and writers, sometimes we do feel like we are on that road and thought it fitting we name the band after that. It has mistakenly thought to be something gloomy in meaning, but, it is exactly the opposite. We don't know the road we are on in life, but, we are focused on writing, recording and playing our music.
