Rob Adcock

Born in Union City, Tennessee, Adcock became a three time Grammy nominated songwriter pinning songs for Pop, Rock, & R&B acts of the 80s and 90s. He moved to California at the age of 18 to knock on the doors of the biggest record companies in the world with his music, only to see each and every door shut in his face. Minneapolis based 80s R&B recording artists, the Jets, helped him become an established songwriter. His musical influences were Tennessee native Jimi Jamison (Survivor), George Benson, Don Henley, and Texas native Christopher Cross, just to name a few. He later returned home with songs in hand and recorded the album “Legend” with established Rock and Pop musicians from across the country. Full credits from the album have never been officially disclosed, but if you listen closely to the album tracks, some of his musical influences listed are clearly recognizeable. This Singer/Songwriter created music to share the heartaches that he felt were in everyone's life. In addition to honing his songwriting abilities in his teens, Adcock taught himself how to play guitar, piano, and drums. By middle school, he was playing in local bands HLM, and Masked Müller.
